Well, long delayed update. After 30 days in the shop, they could not get the car to work. They replaced the Image Processing Unit 4 times and could not get it programed in a way where it would connect all the cameras. I went by the dealership to grab my stuff out of the car and they had...
Well..... Update. Dealership determined that the replacement image processing unit was also defective. Now on my third image processor. Per my service advisor, now the cameras are flickering and not working. Today is day 15 in the dealership..... I now have a case number with GM corporate and...
Thanks!!! I've actually felt pretty supported by the dealership thus far. They put me in a Sierra loaner car right away and have been checking in with me daily. I've got both my cars service advisor and the general manager (who also overseas service) checking in on me.
Its unfortunate that...
Per the dealership, "new part is in, all the codes are gone, but now we can't get OnStar to work/connect with the car, awaiting tech support from GM'... The saga continues... Slowly researching California lemon laws, looks like they have 30 non consecutive days. So far they are at 7 days, I got...
Just heard back from the dealership. They have deduced that it is the "Image Processing Control Module" that is malfunctioning. It sometimes works, sometimes doesn't work and they think it is a soder joint somewhere on the board that is acting up. New part arrived today, they will install and...
Yeah, they have been slowly going through each of the systems. At first they thought it might randomly be related to the rear seat entertainment (no clue how they came to that), but then they were thinking front camera, and then image processing sensor..., so far....we're still at square one....
Proud/Frustrated owner of brand new 2025 Yukon XL Denali with reserve package and air ride (not the capability package with the elocker, just air ride).
Anyways, bought the car on February 28th, picked up the next day on March 1st after detailing. On the ride home, I noticed that the forward...
Gotcha. I'd keep your order in the queue (you don't need to accept it if it gets produced and i'm sure the dealer would be happy to sell it). Depending on your options, I think its unlikely that you'll be getting a '22, if you are pretty bare bones... you have a chance, albit still small for...
My understanding is that your order will roll over to a 23 if it isn't picked up. If you pull it and resubmit, you'll be behind the rollovers.... I'm in the same boat as you. Order went on December 3rd and so far, nothing.
I've had my order in at GM since December 3rd... Still not accepted... Essentially ordered the "reserve" but did so before that was an option so ordered the "prefered group" and added in suspension and max tow. No clue if it'll ever get built or if i'll be rolled over to a '23.
I'm in the same boat, baby #3 at the end of March. I ended up going with the v8 since a majority of the driving is going to be around town (super short trips). I worry that the diesel won't have much time to warm up on these short spurt drives and it'll clog the diesel filter. (were talking a...
Referring to the ability for your phone to essentially act as your key fob. Tesla's have this, BMW, Mercedes and Ford are working on it, as are a few others. I've seen the technology referred to as "Phone-as-a-Key" but I'm sure there is a more technological name. It utilizes Bluetooth/NFC.
Now that 2022 Yukon's have gone with the full Android Automotive suite for technology... has anyone head if there are any plans to make keyless entry/start utilizing a cell phone? I know the technology is rolling out via Android 12 for a number of phones... so hopefully the car makers start...
