b/c the hdmi port in the car does not have hdcp. so when you plug your phone in to the port you get like a qr code / blank screen- sacredbat

you need to add and hdmi splitter with hdcp like 20 bucks. go iphone ->lighting>splitter->RSE- sacredbat
