    Years ago, I called Mobil 1 and asked them why they stopped printing the 24,000 mile oil change? They said basically we got our hands slapped by the car industries. Being that said, I changed my oil in my 318 Dodge Ram 18k - 25k, sold it with 327k on it.

    Good luck with your ordeal, at least they found the problem. My guess is that the warranty will cover a good portion of it; I had some warranty issues and I had to pay $100, it was worth it for the amount of stuff that they did.
