dexos oil?
If you look at this link, you'll see that Dexos is a specification not a trade mark. http://www.sandyblogs.com/techlink/2010/09/the-new-gm-dexos-engine-oil-specification.html It appears from this that a number of oil products will be appearing with the Dexos logo, signifying they meet this...- robmck

08 hybrid not starting
I have an 08 Tahoe Hybrid which in the last week has developed a strange habit. When I first get in the truck it starts fine, drive for a few miles stop, do some business get in and drive some more. Hybrid owners what are you getting for MPG?
I've done about 4000 miles in my Hybrid, and been heavy on the gas. With about half high speed motorway driving .. about 90mph, and the rest a lot of stop start motoring in town. I'm getting 16-17mpg. I know if i cut my speed by a bit.. i'd probably be able to get it up to 18-19mpg easily...- robmck

Drop In filter - Tahoe 2007
I've just installed a Green filter in my 08 Tahoe Hybrid. Not done enough mileage yet to see if its improved mpg, but it does feel a little more responsive. The replacement was a little tricky as GM have put a huge mess of wiring into the Hybrid unit right above one of the screws holding down...- robmck
