    Hvac help

Let me know how it works out for ya. I ordered new air duct sensors, sunlight sensor, and the one above my head. Hoping I have a bad sensor in the roof or the dash. Before I take apart the dash and start inspecting the wiring harness and replacing the duct sensors on the front blower box. If I...

    Hvac help

I had the same issue on my rear. Except it snapped the nipple on the blend door itself instead of the stops. Ill try and find the video I used. I know on my actuator it was past the markings so it wouldnt move. Had to use a 9 volt battery to bring it back into spec. Been workin like a charm since.

    Hvac help

I forgot to add its for my Denali. So it has digital controls. The controller is from Dorman. The resistor and blower motor are “AC Delco” from Rockauto. I replaced the blower motor and resistor back in Aug. with some brand off of Amazon. So I figured it was cuz of some no name brand. But Im...

    Hvac help

Need help with my system. Installed both a new blower motor, resistor, and control panel. Spliced in the harness that came with the new resistor. It will still cut in and out. Im at a loss and dont know what else it could be. Could it possibly be one of the temperature sensors even though its...

    Brake help

Ya I made sure the bleeder valves were facing upwards. The master cylinder never went dry but was low on fluid. A lil lower than the low mark on the reservoir. Im just wondering if when the line blew if I got air trapped inside the abs module. Are there any bleed screws on the modulator itself?

    Brake help

I recently had a line blow on my 06 Yukon Denali. I replaced the lines with AGS CNC154KIT {#22932591} NiCopp EZ-FIT RPO Code JL4 (Active Brake Control) from Rockauto. Used the Motive Products Power Bleeder to bleed the brakes, and Autel Maxicheck scanner for the abs module. While I was at it...

    Radio Swap

Might be the head unit itself. What volts are your preamp outputs? Dont go of the manufactures specs. Measure it for yourself. I forgot the model Kenwood I installed in a friends Maxima. They said 4 volt, but it ended up being when the radio was turned up to max volume. otherwise it sat around 2...

Bose --> Everything New. Bypass Needed?

Well I thought I read that he wasnt going to use the factory bose amp correct? But that he liked the way the factory speakers sounded. SO he would have to worry bout high level/low level inputs then. Since he wants more control, that the aftermarket head unit provides. By all means @redrocket...

Bose --> Everything New. Bypass Needed?

You would pretty much get the aftermarket harness you still need. But instead of the speaker wires going from factory harness to radio harness. You would get rca ends and solder them to the speaker wires, and plug them accordingly into the back of your radio. That way you will still have sound...

Bose --> Everything New. Bypass Needed?

Do you want to keep the door chimes, rap, and onstar? What kind of amps are you running. Are they actual components, or just new coaxial speakers. Theres a cpl of different ways to wire this up. Just need more information. The thing I like doin best is removing the entire dash piece. Takes...
