There are just some days I wish I didn't turn wrenches
I still wrench on rides. My collection only, very few "favor" jobs. However, being old as dirt, retirement needs more cash to pile up. I can work on points(!), carbs (!!), and marine if I choose. Around me, small engine repair is the thing. Likely I will get in that arena. Mobile mechanic... -

VENTING!!! Rip-off Labor rates!
I have been on both sides of this issue. 2 bay gas station, me as the wrench. Way back when (1974ish). Customer parts included no warranty, never. Self-protection from return issues. With quality issues rampant these days, I certainly would not warranty any part I don't source myself. Shop...- ricwrench

2009 Yukon Needs New Headlights. What to Get?

self made Wheel Alignment Tool
I installed level pads in my yard, big timesaver! I have a BF cnc mill. I can park on the table and indicate things really true. Overkill for alignment . Working on a painting program, movements will be programmed. Likely to be better than me at the job, . It's all math..... sorta- ricwrench

self made Wheel Alignment Tool
I use string, square tubing, 6' scale. Egyptian water level to get the Hoe sitting earth level first. 50 yrs spinning wrenches, never paid for an alignment yet. Old now, things get heavy!- ricwrench
