Whether you read the new agreement or not, or whether you terminate your subscription or not, OnStar will continue to access your vehicle/data. It's in the agreement! The OnStar unit archives all the data, unplugging the cell antenna connector won't help because the next time you plug it in(in an emergency) it spews out a data burst from memory. The VSS wire would cut speed and distance info, the farka gps connector would cut GPS info. ---------- Post...- readyman

Those cheap pocket sized chinese cell/gps/3g jammers work fine for the other stuff, the trouble is I don't know when OnStar polls my Tahoe for a data dump.- readyman

Checking the Tahoe forum and the Corvette forum I'd expect more people to be 'up in arms' about this email I got from Onstar. Basically going from 'court order' to 'giving away' our driving data. btw, This is a technical thread, not a political big brother Onstar>GM>UAW>$>Feds discussion...- readyman
