    If you can , you might want to look at the NextGen valve bodies in aftermarket parts. There is a lot of positive buzz about them.

    Update - the dealer finally received the new trans and son picked it up on 5/15. As you would expect, GM did extend the warranty on the transmission. Now the recall on the engine.... what a !@#$show.
