    AFM Issues / Misfire

Me neither. I got a used VLOM from someone locally. He said it was working but his cylinder 4 lifter died. Replaced his lifter before driving down to SC from New Jersey and number 4 died again. Got his money back from the parts store and threw in some BTR replacement parts to delete the AFM...

    AFM Issues / Misfire

Got around to working on this project again. Installed the new pump. Rotor is larger in diameter and thicker too. The housing outlet passages were smoothed out and I filled the gears up with assembly lube before putting the front cover on right before starting it up so I wouldn't have to...

    AFM Issues / Misfire

I only did the AFM lifters on the odd bank. It fixed the misfire but not the ticking. I have since bought an OE higher flow oil pump and cleaned up the casting while I was waiting for an opportunity to install it. Hopefully I'll get it installed before the end of the year. Something I've...

    AFM Issues / Misfire

Finally got around to swapping in a new set of AFM lifters. The misfire is gone but it's clattering like crazy still. I took off a valve cover and let it run and only saw oil flowing freely out of the front and rear lifters (only 2 of the 8). The oil pressure is around 40psi at a cold start...

Do I need to do anything with this battery current sensor?

I'll have to look up some info on how it works on these vehicles. Sounds interesting. I'm wondering how the temp sensor determines the battery temp or if it assumes based on engine bay temps.

Do I need to do anything with this battery current sensor?

Makes sense to me. Audis like to know that the battery is new and fully charged so it can put back in as much power as is used when the engine is started and accessories are on. It becomes a problem when it tries to shove more power into fully charged replacement battery if you don't tell...

Do I need to do anything with this battery current sensor?

I'm replacing the battery on my 2005 Suburban. It didn't want to start this morning the first 2 tries (clicking acting dead) but then started right up. Stopped somewhere for about 10 minutes and it did it again. When I got to work, the battery smelled like rotten eggs and I ordered a new one...

    Tailgate glass pops open randomly.

Hmm... must just be a pin yhat lets the smoke out. I am glad that I haven't had the issue since the battery was unhooked overnight. Thanks for the diagram on the trailer harness. I will have to take a closer look to see where the loose wires come from.

    Just bought a Yukon

I'm waiting on a new part to solder into the board in the BCM and see what happens. Should be here in the next week to month and a half. Ever since the alarm went off at midnight and I unhooked the battery overnight, it hasn't happened any more. Not sure still what's going on with it...

    Airaid Cold Air Intake

If you still have issues after that, just put the original on and see if it goes back to normal. If so, then you might want to call airraid and see what they have to say. If not, there's something that has been overlooked.

    And the adventure begins.

I like the new wheels a lot better than the 5 spokes.

    Plastic inner fenders splash guard

Thank you sirs. I appreciate it!

    Plastic inner fenders splash guard

I'd keep them on. I'm actually in need of some fasteners for the liners on my 07 Yukon at the moment. If you decide to take them off, would you mind measuring the push in fasteners or the holes? Mine are all pretty much gone going into the fenders and the bumpers are falling off because the...

    AFM Issues / Misfire

Decided to take the head off and throw a set of AFM lifters from ebay into it and see what happens. I'll take out the oil pressure sender and check the screen while I'm there. If everything works out fine after that then I'll be happy. Otherwise, the intake and VLOM are easier to take back...
