On my 97, is it normal for the alternator amperage to go lower than 14 when I have the ac on-ESP when it's on full blast?!
I already replaced the alternator once in less than a year-at first I thought it was my hids-but I installed a harness straight to the battery.

on my 97 Tahoe, it came with-when I bought it, i believe to be a class 2 hitch and was wondering if I can haul this with a track bike weighing about 450lbs on it with no issues...

I did find a stock steering wheel with airbag in my local craigslist for about $70, so most likely ill just do that and try to swap it out myself.
I tried searching a do it yourself for it-but found nothing
this is the steering wheel that my Hoe came with when I bought it..
it now has play-since a part of the metal hub broke off. Anyone know what brand this is-so maybe I can get a replacement steering wheel hub adaptor?
Last thing i need is for the wheel to break off while im driving-esp...
97 Tahoe 4x4 with about 45k on rebuilt engine and 1k on reman trans, 140k on body...i believe im the 2nd owner of this truck!
I kept it stock-came with 22s but i sold those and put my old Nali wheels on it.
Ive maintained it well, since its my daily driver and is running great!
