    According to TSB 22-NA-182, the thermal bypass valve on 10L80 transmissions opens at 143°F except for LM2/LZ0 equipped vehicles which opens at 194°F.

    That is not a grounded screw, just goes into plastic. Take off the kick panel below and find one of the proper grounding bolts beneath.
