Just an update.....The fuel pump failed....but the reason it would not crank over is because the CPU fuse blew .......- nzvlnr

even if the fuel pump died it would still crank over....when you click to ignite the beast it does nothing ...with a volt meter on the battery when we try to start it...the volts only drop by like a 1/1o th of a volt...no clicking nothing. But the dash lights up as normal. ---------- Post added...- nzvlnr

No I havent checked that. Reason is.I lost the alternator and the battery was 10 years old so I replaced them both....I wouldnt think something else failed was well WTF!!! YA KNOW...I was hoping someone would have some info on the security system or maybe a reset .....hopeful wishing.....The...- nzvlnr

I have a 2003 yukon and I just installed a new battery and alternator. I go to crank it over and nothing happens? The battery has good voltage and no blown fuses, the dash lights come on as normal. The security lock lights up and goes out and when I turn the key to start, nothing happens. My...- nzvlnr
