    Torque app users?

I have the Torque Pro app but some of PIDs don't work like cylinder misfire counts mainly. I have a 1997 chevy tahoe. If you have the Torque app can you tell me if the cylinder misfire counts work for you? thanks

Looking at a 96 Tahoe - questions about inspections and towing

It's very common for the stock radiators from Delphi to develop cracks at this age and is talked about a lot of various forums. They are not going to do TSBs for almost 20 year old trucks that have issues with radiators 18 years later...

Looking at a 96 Tahoe - questions about inspections and towing

The coolant leaking could be from the plastic side tanks used on these radiators. I bought mine that had a crack where the upper oil line connects. I almost didn't see it when i bought it because it was a slow drip. It's very common for the side tanks to crack.

Verify I have the correct MAP sensor in my 97 Tahoe

Wow are you ok? I couldn't even understand that drivel. I know you live here but stop taking it so serious. I simply was making sure I had the correct map sensor in so if you get fired up over that I don't know what to tell you. Yep 20 years working on cars and trucks. Nobody knows...

Verify I have the correct MAP sensor in my 97 Tahoe

Who is worrying? I am making sure I have the correct map sensor installed simple as that. Don't worry about what I'm "worrying" about. I asked a question. I changed the map sensor before and not sure if I have one from the junk yard in or the one that came with the truck. I might have put...

Verify I have the correct MAP sensor in my 97 Tahoe

Ok what explains the different size hole between the both of them but the same part number and same manufacturer? One would let more air in. Look at the attached pictures same numbers different size holes. I also looked up that number 16187556 number on Ebay and lots of listings said it...

Verify I have the correct MAP sensor in my 97 Tahoe

The hole that the rubber seal is on is a different size on the 2 extra i have. So that 4 digit number i think is not a date code. All 3 have the number 16187556 but all of them have different 4 digit numbers. I asked if someone can read the numbers on your truck.

Verify I have the correct MAP sensor in my 97 Tahoe

I have in my truck now part # 16187556 and there is a 4 digit # below that I have 7070. I have 2 spare MAP sensors from the junk yard all with the same #16187556 but the 4 digit numbers for those are 7252 and 6304 Can someone here take at look at their truck and tell me what numbers are on...

So my JB Weld idea didn't work the nuts just twisted off like nothing. So I just cut 2 studs flush with the flange and tried to drill them out but I couldnt get a drill in straight. So i ended up putting it back together with one stud that wasn't broken and I put a 3 inch c clamp on it...

Yep I JB welded the nuts onto the studs. I put some on the threads and on top of the nut. I only sprayed PB on the top of the exhaust flange where the stud screws into it none gets down on the stud.

What did you do to your OBS GMT400 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I changed the rear diff fluid because i wasn't sure if the previous owner did. There was quite a bit of metal sludge on the magnet but no chunks of metal. Hopefully i delayed the need for a rebuild or new rear for at least 3+ years. I also tried to remove the 2 broken exhaust studs that i...
