    Chrome Black-Out'd bumpers

I know this is an old thread but my 02 tahoe is white, and has had a black grille for a while, I really hate the chrome, it looks tacky to me, so today I’m doing this, will post results when I’m done.

    HELP!!!

Well I just tested the TPS with a multimeter, and I’m not getting increased voltage with moving of the TB blade. I get voltage and ground, it’s just not increasing in voltage. Rescanned for codes and got a 0122. So I’m going to get another TPS and see if that’s fixes it.

    HELP!!!

No spare TB. I’m pretty sure it’s the Holley. It made this noise the day I put it on. New IAC and TPS. Still does it.

    HELP!!!

No. I’m doing this in my yard. The idle without the IAC is about 600-800 with the IAC, it wil surge to about 1000-1500 then calm back down and the noise disappears. I think the reason it didn’t stumble was because of the position of the throttle blade, like it got just enough air to continue to run.

    HELP!!!

I did call Holley. No help. When I adjust the idle screw the noise will go away, during idle, if I crack the throttle it returns. Crack the throttle with the IAC unplugged the noise goes away completely. So do I reset IAC somehow? Measure voltage of TPS, then adjust the throttle blade?

    HELP!!!

No I haven’t. I’ve just seen videos now recently of the “Sniper whistle” but it’s for a different unit than mine…

    HELP!!!

I’ve removed every single hardline and rubber hose checked for leaks. Didn’t spot any leaks. The sound only appears on first startup for a few seconds and then disappears after idle regulates. The sound is present when I give it gas, and when I’m downshifting coming to a complete stop. Sometimes...

    HELP!!!

Ok. I used a cigar on the brake booster hose to see if I could spot any leaks. There where none. All hoses are practically new and in Good shape. The sound is coming from TB. It’s a Holley Sniper EFI #860008-1. The noise is coming directly from that. But there aren’t any leaks anywhere. I’m...

To be honest no, the ride was ok, but then I also have bilstein 5100’s and redone the front and rear control arms and bushings.

    Hello y’all I’m New here

I had some 24’s on mine last year. I had the stock 17’s but they were ugly lol. So then I got the aluminum Chevy 20’s they looked nice but I sold them and I had a set of 24s. Got in a wreck (not my fault) ruined them, so now I have some 07 18s I think? On there now. They’re ok, but I think I...

    HELP!!!

Yeah I’ve read where people have drilled holes in the TB. I’ve also read that for this particular mod that a tune is not required but wouldn’t hurt. I tried everything this guy tried, and some people get a whistle, and some don’t. I’ve replaced IAC and TPS. Acdelco and Delphi parts. Still...

    Hello y’all I’m New here

Thanks again man! Yeah the molding was ugly. Lol even though it’s a truck, I fell in love with the body lines, debating lowering it.
