Has anybody found a decent portable compressor/inflator?

Had a ton of Dewalt tools so went with the Dewalt. Can't complain. Take it with me on long road trips and off road excursions as well. Allows me to "set it and forget it" as I rotate tires or other chores it will inflate to what I set it at and then stop.

    2017 Escalade/Denali L86 "requires" 93 octane - your experience?

I have a '19 Tahoe Premier with the 6.2. I have 130K miles on her and she's been on regular unleaded most of those miles. I will typically use premium when I'm road tripping for the slight increase in performance and mileage. I wouldn't get either of these running around town so it's just not...

Bridgestone tires. good or bad? My experience.

I haven't typically gotten more than 30 to 35K miles on stock rubber. They put budget tires on at the factory for the most part and you can do MUCH better with a little research on Consumer Reports or TireRack.com. My second set on my '19 Tahoe were Continentals that lasted around 70K miles...

    Continental Terrain Contact H/T?

I ran the Continentals on my 2019 Premier 6.2 for nearly 70K miles with excellent results. They ran well enough to put another set on a few months ago. I have the Michelin LTX on my Silverado 2500 and have no complaints there either but they seem to be wearing more quickly.

Does any use a Fumoto oil pan drain valve?

I've used these on several trucks, cars, and SUVs since 2006. They are great for simple, clean and quick maintenance. I have NEVER had any issues with leaks or issues even with some serious off roading. Just get the correct one and look at clearances with a nipple or 90 deg if needed.

    Costco - $1K off Tahoe/Suburban

I took advantage of this a few years ago with my 2019 Tahoe Premier 6.2. It was a good deal that locked in a very low base price with every available rebate and the Costco gift card which is $1000 this time around. It put my bottom line near the price of low mileage used units that were...

    1992 GMC Yukon 2 Door

They are pretty rare. Not many out there. I had a '93 C1500 Extended Cab with the 5.7 and a 5-sp. I hot-rodded it a bit with under-drive pulleys, chip, headers, exhaust, HE ignition, etc and beefed up the tranny and clutch a bit. It was a blast to drive. One of the trucks I wish I could...

    Sigh. The stealership strikes again

Estimates like these are precisely why I use a local independent shop 90% of the time! There are very few dealerships around the country that trust to do what's needed instead of what will maximize the bill.

Which Oil filter do you use.

Excellent source for very reasonably priced, high quality filters. Been using them for years: https://www.fleetfilter.com/

What do i need to recalibrate my speedometer after my tire/rim swap?

I just got a speedo cal unit from Hypertech for larger tires on my Colorado ZR2. Hypertech has been at the tuning game for MANY years (I used one of their chips on my '93 back in the day) and makes good equipment. Looks like $230 for your truck. Here's the link...

    Advice on 2021 Tahoe, 5.3 V8 vs. Duramax 3.0

I've had the 5.3 and currently 6.2 in Tahoes/Yukons and have had the 6.6 and currently the 2.8 Diesel in trucks. With that in mind, if I wanted a hotrod SUV with smooth power, I'd go 6.2 gas. I love that in my 2019 Premier Plus and plan to add an Edelbrock super charger one of these days...
