Good morning, everybody! I have had my vehicle back since Friday. It runs well. No more noises, or shaking of the engine/exhaust system. Have driven 100+ miles over the weekend — all is well. Thank you Shrubs2K2 and DuraYuk. The car is still at the shop — 2 weeks now. Good news is that GMC will replace all lifters and the camshaft without cost to me. I was offered to replace the spark plugs while everything is apart to save the labor cost and agreed. I am attaching another photo of...- mnemonicmark

Hello everybody, Received the news that one lifter (cyl. 3) collapsed and will be replaced — and now the camshaft will be replaced as well since the collapsed/damaged lifter also damaged the cam shaft.
