Don't feel too bad, the dealer did the same thing to ours after a condenser replacement. Made it a few days and the line popped off. Made a huge mess under the hood and went completely into neutral. Had to get towed back and fixed again.
Les Schwab pressure tested it. And GM tech support is who told Les Schwab about the extended coverage over the phone. Otherwise, Schwab could have done it for me on my own dime if i had wanted. When I called my dealer to ask about it he didn't even question it, so I think they are well aware...
I'm not sure about the diff issue, but I just had my vacuum pump replaced for free by the dealer a couple weeks ago. One day I got little to no brake assistance in a parking lot all of a sudden. We were out of town but I was able to drive it to the closest les schwab. Drove fine on the way...
I did do an alignment just to be safe, but it was pretty unnecessary. They barely changed anything at all. I waited until after I got new tires and everything though, so that it was going to be the final change for a while.
I meant to reply to your post with my last one (post #889), but I forgot to hit the reply button. My last post explains a little about what I did and why. The 1.5" kit only cost like $70 and I installed myself. I've got a thread on here with pics, I'm sure you can probably find in my profile.
The suspensionmaxx 1.5" is pretty easy to put in yourself with basic tools. And looks very close to stock. I noticed a lot of guys who did the 2.5 also went up 1 in the rear, which I did not want to do. Plus the 1.5 requires no extra modifications and works fine with factory wheel offset.
They can be removed but my understanding is that it's kind of a pain to do. Also it kind of leaves an unfinished look imo. I left about 2.5-3 inches of material if i remember correctly. The PPV ones I think are more like 1-2 inches. You can click that image and zoom in. Hard to tell at the...
That should work fine, although maybe a little overkill. It's very easy to cut. Maybe try and use the thinnest wheel you can find to reduce the amount of melting. I used an oscillating multi tool for mine and it buzzed right through it no problem.
Thank you, I'm very happy with it! And the lean issue was just my driveway tweaking the supsension slightly i guess. I checked it at my in law's and it's perfect. I've had thoughts about doing the black grill, but the reason I left the suburban badges was because I still had the chrome lugs...
Looks awesome! I see they didn't match your sidewalls, same thing happened to me even after making it clear to them, so I went back and had them fix the one that didn't match. Turns out they snuck a charge on my card for fixing their own mistake but oh well. I kind of wanted the same size but...
