Show off your 2015+ leveled Tahoes and Yukons!

I did do an alignment just to be safe, but it was pretty unnecessary. They barely changed anything at all. I waited until after I got new tires and everything though, so that it was going to be the final change for a while.

I meant to reply to your post with my last one (post #889), but I forgot to hit the reply button. My last post explains a little about what I did and why. The 1.5" kit only cost like $70 and I installed myself. I've got a thread on here with pics, I'm sure you can probably find in my profile.

The suspensionmaxx 1.5" is pretty easy to put in yourself with basic tools. And looks very close to stock. I noticed a lot of guys who did the 2.5 also went up 1 in the rear, which I did not want to do. Plus the 1.5 requires no extra modifications and works fine with factory wheel offset.

They can be removed but my understanding is that it's kind of a pain to do. Also it kind of leaves an unfinished look imo. I left about 2.5-3 inches of material if i remember correctly. The PPV ones I think are more like 1-2 inches. You can click that image and zoom in. Hard to tell at the...

Oscillating multi tool cut through mine easily. Sanded the edge smooth when finished.

I used my quarter sheet sander on it also to make it nice and flat, and get rid of any burrs left behind.

That should work fine, although maybe a little overkill. It's very easy to cut. Maybe try and use the thinnest wheel you can find to reduce the amount of melting. I used an oscillating multi tool for mine and it buzzed right through it no problem.

    Opinions/experiences, 2" level tire size

Thank you, I'm very happy with it! And the lean issue was just my driveway tweaking the supsension slightly i guess. I checked it at my in law's and it's perfect. I've had thoughts about doing the black grill, but the reason I left the suburban badges was because I still had the chrome lugs...

Looks awesome! I see they didn't match your sidewalls, same thing happened to me even after making it clear to them, so I went back and had them fix the one that didn't match. Turns out they snuck a charge on my card for fixing their own mistake but oh well. I kind of wanted the same size but...

Max tire size 2017 Yukon XL

I have 265/70r18 e-rated ridge grapplers (32.87 x 10.71). They fit my suburban stock with no rub. I put the 1.5 inch level on after the tires just for looks. I'm pretty sure you could get away with 275/70r18 (33.19 x 10.98) also, after seeing mine. Even if they rubbed it would be very minor...

2018 Tahoe RST AC Stopped Working

Sorry, I just now saw this. If you hit reply on the post before typing a response it will notify people that you responded to their post. Mine was the condenser issue. Fortunately I have a 3 year warranty from a third party that we bought with the truck. Got it back yesterday and apparently a...

2018 Tahoe RST AC Stopped Working

Just went through this with my '17. The extended warranty is good for 5 years or 60,000 miles. Mine was just past the mileage but fortunately I have a warranty that's covering it. Gotta pay $100 deductible since it's not the dealer I bought the truck from but I want GM to do the repair so...
