    Ok so I just ordered a new impact sensor, I should be able to just plug it in and the check air bag system light will go away?? Thanks for the help guys.

    Can anyone else help? I found a wire with a connector that looks like it should plug into the airbag impact sensor but I can't find where it is. Maybe the door I switched out didn't have an airbag impact sensor?

    anybody? I disconnected the negative battery cable to see if the air bag warning would come back and it did. I looked under both front seats to see if there were any loose wires or connectors and everything looked ok but I'm not sure what else I can do?

    I recently replaced the passenger side door on my tahoe and right after I connected everything and turned it on the service air bag light came on and its been on for weeks now. I'm guessing its somehow related? Anything I can do or check before I take it into the dealer?

    After a closer look I found that the 2 wires from the motor were purposely cut. After splicing them together everything works great.

    I disagree if I show them the pics of how it looked when the Ins said it was totaled and also the Insurance estimate showing there was not any structural/frame damage. I don't see it being a big deal. Insurance companies total cars all the time for minor fender benders.
