    Transmission Tuning

The short to your question is YES...rationale is solid. My real world example is the 68RFE in my RAM 2500 CTD. When first introduced they were notoriously unreliable. Mine was tuned (as was the engine) from 1300 miles and we added a deeper finned aluminium sump / pan. Have had absolutely...

07 tahoe z71 BILSTEIN rear shock

Does this truck have auto rear level? If so you do not need any kind of rear lift as when you lift the front via a torsion bar lift keys it wil automatically raise the rear of the vehicle. This will gain you between 1 and 1.5 inches of overall lift. Only shocks are needed.

    Dealers suck.

As much as I would like to say otherwise, thats not been my experience. Especially of late as I alluded above. So as Zen as your reply was, we will have to agree to disagree. Ch

    Z71 Off Road

Mightve been a 2006 but yeah..needed lift keys to level. The nice thing is that the automatic rear load levelling raise the back of the vehicle to accomodate the front level so we got a free 2" or so of lift. Was great for 18 wheels and aggressive AT 33's..no rubbing whatsoever....I dont think...

    Dealers suck.

Dealers are only in the game to make money. Putting a deposit on an in stock vehicle should secure it for a limited time, ie: a few days AT MOST.. Its not just car dealers that suck...Pretty much all dealers suck nowadays but on the flip side... Buyers a better strategy is to say nothing, have...

    Z71 Off Road

We have had a a mildly modifed 2008 Tahoe LT (33s, torsion keys, shocks) and replaced that with an Land Rover LR4 v8. Both are just fine for mild trails. We've do alot of off pavement trails in Moab; Whale Eye Arch, some of the other lesser known arches etc.. I will say though..once we were out...

22 Tahoe RST could be available - My loss could be your gain

@OP is the RST a 4x4 vehicle? @all..we just looked at a 2021 Yukon AT4 5K miles on the ODO from a dealer. They are listing it at $81.5K, that's quite a bit more than we could place an order for a 2023 with the exact same options..

wanna lift, but wanna lift right.

We have an 05 4x4 Tahoe with autoride. Used 2" ready lift keys up front with 2" longer Rancho RS9000xl shocks. Haven't soldered in resistors ever. Pluses: We found that the factory autoride attempts to keep the rear of the vehicle at the same ratio higher than the front as it was stock...so...

Can I adjust air ride sensors to lift rear an inch or two on 2005 Yukon Denali?

Theoretically. I don't like to do that because it messes with ride quality. At the same time because of the lift we swapped longer Rancho shocks on the front too. With the new shocks we get a "ride control" warning on the info center, but there's a resistor fix for that I'll get to some day...

High RPM's at highway speeds, etc.....

Had a similar issue on my 05 at 120k. Turned out the tranny was bad. Shop owner said these trannies die at about 100k no matter what... Good luck, Ch Sent from my DROID RAZR

    65+ MPH rear wobbles

Drive shafts? Maybe out of balance, or possible that your drive line/ suspension angles are all wacko due to the lift? Good looking truck though! Ch Sent from my DROID RAZR
