@Sundancer i think the reason GM told you that is because the vehicle comes with a 3 year / 36 month bumper to bumper warranty (although in 2020 it may have been different) the other warranty is for smog or rust.
The dealer probably removed the tracker from car.. trackers and other devices connected to OBD port block OTA…

@Marky Dissod The L87 issue is a sub contractor error just like the back up camera. GM takes the heat but the subcontractor messed up (and has to pay).
