In CA and NV they put them in most cars, I think it’s a upsell and insurance thing. @nomech you need a light and to get in ur back, they are usually zip tied up towards the fuse block. Even though you refused activation the stupid thing maybe in there and blocking your OTA… I’d guess dealer...- LegalBrief

@Sundancer i think the reason GM told you that is because the vehicle comes with a 3 year / 36 month bumper to bumper warranty (although in 2020 it may have been different) the other warranty is for smog or rust.- LegalBrief

The dealer probably removed the tracker from car.. trackers and other devices connected to OBD port block OTA… **the dealers are sneaking the trackers into the car and using g a Y splitter, unless you know to look and get upside down. @Marky Dissod The L87 issue is a sub contractor error just like the back up camera. GM takes the heat but the subcontractor messed up (and has to pay).- LegalBrief
