Hi Everyone,
The other day I looked under my car and saw this wire dangling. I was wondering if anyone knew what this was for. The wire was located in the rear driver's side near the gas fill area. The wire is brittle and would like to replace it. It seems to look like a grounding point. Any...
Exactly since they are only 6 bucks rather have spares available as well so when one does shit the bed and I'm in the middle of nowhere I can just swap it out.
Hey sorry about the moron part lol that was a typo. Just figured better safe then sorry. I know the horn relay needs replacing as well so figured while I'm at it.
OKay so it turned out it was the fuel pump. So he replaced the the pump and fuel filter. I am going to switch out the fuel pump relay and while i was at it was going to swap out the horn and the ac as well. I noticed all those relays had the same number on them. Does that mean I just order this...
Thanks for the advice. I didn't have a chance to test anything since the car broke down away from the house. I had it towed to a mechanic to figure out the issue. I just wanted to know the best part just in case it is that. Want a part that will last since I know that' ait is pain in the ass to...
Been seeing the signs. Gas gauge would jump from empty to actual ready. Lack of power going up hill and lag during acceleration at times. Also the car was running and then just sputtered and shut off
So looks like my fuel pump died on my 2001 chevy tahoe. Figured I ask to see if there are any pumps better than others. Figured if I'm going to replace it get the best one I can get. Thanks in advance for your help
Just wanted to get an opinion. I was thinking of having a mechanic do it just for this since I don't have my home garage avail for the moment. The mechanic wants to charge 300 in labor to replace both rear pads and hoses and bleed the system is that a reasonable price or does that seem high.
I figured I go stainless if I suck it up and do it myself lol. Also do you know which one is for the rear? And as always thank you for taking the time to help.

Hey Tony,
Even though its a new caliper I still checked the pins and added some lube as for the hose I did not replace. So that might be the issue. Is there a specific hose you guys recommend? Thanks for responding.
