    I always thought the compressor needed to be on to draw it in? Does the little cans have enough to push into it? I've never done it that way, but I'm open to try it, I've always jumped the switch to suck it in.

    I have, way beyond that, it has something to do with the power down hook in the gmc infotainment system, they haven't don't appear interested in correcting it. Power save was one of the first things I did just to get it to navigate, let alone reconnect.

    I have, but you're not going to like the answer..... a buddy of mine had an iPhone 5s that he just gave me (about 9 months ago) and I activated it on my Sprint plan as another "bill" but using CarPlay over Android Auto has been a leaps and bounds venture. I don't run into this disconnection...

    I had to have the dealer replace the latch under warranty. Have it changed out....they have newer parts that solve the problem.

    My service adviser at Tasca said it is so common that new trucks on the lot leak right off the truck....the gasket is "split" by design and causes the leak to happen....took mine 23 months...but still happened...replace it under warranty and move on. Good luck.

    I would then have to turn on GPS, turn off battery saver for UBS transactions to work, have a wire coming out of the center console.....etc etc....it's a hassle.

    There are apps that do call and text forwarding, so with a simple macro, a one button press routes my main phone directly to the car phone number. When i'm out, the app reverses the process. I will eventually be upgrading to the IO6, but for now, this works well for my needs.

    Why do we care? Because not everyone use things the same way you'd expect. I have a dedicated phone that is attached to USB all the time for nav, but my regular phone on my hip or my wifes phone would do nicely to get a minor charge when put on the mat......YMMV
