Doing advance engine mods (Intake and header is not advanced) is a bad idea on a daily driver. Ive always know it was bad idea but had to learn the hard way...lol

E85 sucks big time, cheaper per gallon but the MPG drop like a rock! My Burb is flex fuel and only gets about 250 miles on a full tank of E85. Seriously not worth it.
I used Centric brand. They are a machined rotor, they start with a smooth rotor and machine the slots into them. They are quieter than the rotors that have the slots in the casting molds. Slotted rotors do make a humming noise when they get very hot under heavy braking.

Think I mentioned this already...but did the install on a 04 Avalanche and 03 Suburban with the exact same parts except rotors, used smooth rotors on the Suburban and its nowhere as good as the Avalanche.
GMT900 upgrade with smooth rotors is still a improvement over the stock GMT800...

Yes the 5.3 is better but the 4.8 is not the dog people always claim it to be, a buddy of mine did a Nelson tune with a cam and he spanks many 5.3 and 6.0 trucks. Dont sell your truck...
