If it is a AWD the front and rear work like a open differential. If your rear wheels are on ice and the front on dry ground its possible for the truck to roll until a rear wheel catches a dry spot. You need to get all 4 wheels in the air and check it out.
I think the above posts are thinking a weak fuel pump or leaking injectors. You could try turning the key to run without starting a couple of times before you start it. The idea being the fuel pump runs for a second or two. If its low fuel pressure issue, this will get the pressure up.
The $1500 includes a $400 core charge from Zumbrota's. Hopefully you get a good one from eBay. Mines getting noisy, it has 255k on it. I've looked on eBay in the past and the prices seem to be all over the place. When I 1st looked at Zumbrota they were $900 for a rebuild.

I used the Sylvania kit on my DD. Easy to use. It lasted 2 years. I would have used it again but the lens had cracks in it so I replaced them. This is a good option.

I think the position of the led has a lot to do with how well they work.
