    Bad trans or transfer case?

You could lift the back (block the front) and disconnect the drive shaft and spin the rear end to eliminate the rear-end.

    Bad trans or transfer case?

If it is a AWD the front and rear work like a open differential. If your rear wheels are on ice and the front on dry ground its possible for the truck to roll until a rear wheel catches a dry spot. You need to get all 4 wheels in the air and check it out.

    Cold start issue

I think the above posts are thinking a weak fuel pump or leaking injectors. You could try turning the key to run without starting a couple of times before you start it. The idea being the fuel pump runs for a second or two. If its low fuel pressure issue, this will get the pressure up.

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Next time shift in to 1st and see if it still slips. My understanding is by manually shifting different solenoids are used.

Looking For Used Front Diff 09 GMC Sierra 1500

The $1500 includes a $400 core charge from Zumbrota's. Hopefully you get a good one from eBay. Mines getting noisy, it has 255k on it. I've looked on eBay in the past and the prices seem to be all over the place. When I 1st looked at Zumbrota they were $900 for a rebuild. Thanks 3% inflation.

I heard of people using rope, but that pretty much the same as the tubing.

I used the Sylvania kit on my DD. Easy to use. It lasted 2 years. I would have used it again but the lens had cracks in it so I replaced them. This is a good option.

When unlocking the doors the reverse and daytime lights don't come on in the day time. Cover your sensor and try it again.

Need some GOOD Led headlight bulbs

I'm running a version of these. https://www.amazon.com/AUXITO-9005-Lumens-Brightness-Installation/dp/B0CLG29RXC?ref_=ast_sto_dp I think the position of the led has a lot to do with how well they work.

Need some GOOD Led headlight bulbs

The links are not working. What Leds are you working with. The leds diodes should be at the 9 and 3 o'clock position.

    California Air Quiet Compressors?

I have a Husky version to. They are quiet. I can't speak to how long they will last, I don't have much time on mine. I have seen the pump for sale as a pond aerator. Those run 24/7. If I can find it I'll post a link to it.

Odd Bose radio issues. No sound when cold. Randomly powers off for a few seconds. Occasional theftlock briefly then works fine.

The surface mount capacitors are the ones that benefit from time in the oven. Please don't do this on my word. I'm just an A-hole who likes to drink beer and type smart on my phone. :birgits_tiredcoffee

That should be all you need to do for cold soldier joints. Capacitors are the next mostly to fail item, but I don't know if they are heat sensitive. From your pictures they look ok. But I am using my phone to view them.

Apparently I need a new PCM

Not saying this is your issue. But in the video it shows how bad wires can cause problems.

Since its out i would hit the larger solder joints with an iron. That ROHS stuff is hard to work with.

Can you pull your radio out and warm just the radio with a heat gum/ hair dryer to help find the location of the issue?

    Apple Carplay

How much of a audiophile is she? If you mess up the balance, fade and what not does she fix it? I know for me it will stay that way until I drive it. Wally world has some cheap units.
