No, I never did. I found I wasn't really using it that much and took it out altogether. I may, at some point, take it to a professional blind shop or somewhere similar to see if they can fix it. -
Chrome nerf bars
Correct. I was asking about getting the body mount bolts out, not the ones for the current running boards. I've already had the passenger side running board off once when I had some paint work done. I'd just hate to snap off a body mount bolt. -

What he said. I live in Virginia, so it's likely not as bad as Iowa, but they still use salt here. OK, I can't manage to get the damn torx out, so I'm getting a refurb from someone with good feedback on Ebay for about $120. My plan is to take it to a local mechanic I trust and have them replace it for me. Now I wish I'd bought that lift. My plan is to send mine out and have it refurbished...- Jeff53

Might give the head prop a try. I have it on jack stands. It's just a tough area/angle to work. I've used my "mirror on a stick" to try to see if I'm getting the torx in there, but again, tough to work with only one hand trying to remove them. Rear sway bar
Did all 2002 Yukon XLs come with a rear sway bar? I was doing some work on mine the other day and noticed that I had one. I had thought that it wasn't standard equipment. Was it or did it come with the trailering package (which I have) or some other upgrade? Mine is an SLE, so not top of the line.- Jeff53

Looking for center caps
Rides fine. Steering seems to be better, but I've only taken a short drive in it since I swapped them out. I went ahead and replaced the rear jounce bumpers while I had the wheels off since it's easier access. The old ones were pretty old and cracked. Probably originals. -
