    i feel ya on the AC- my control panel is all f'd up but the AC works. now my transfer case is leaking. rear shocks are next and after that... who knows.

    it turns out that the NVG246 case has a history of developing leaks in the case. i'm dumping Auto Trak fluid all over the West Valley. i'll keep milking it until it goes out. maybe i can make it to next tax (refund) season.

    unless its 1/4 thick, i don't know if it would survive a cleaning. the rust is very deep. like i said, the picture doesn't do it much justice. my question about the joints was, are they the nylon-injected or the ones with the clips? how can i tell?

    not too bad though. a little Mighty Putty and some water and it'll be like new. psgr side fender is wrinkled, too, but that picture's not working. i guess now would be a good time to do a nice aftermarket grille and lights, but the budget does not permit :(
