How to replace the actuator in the front axle in your 4x4 OBS

Not sure if the sensor is different on 96's and up but on 95's and down the actuator sends the signal when it reaches full extension, not a sensor in the diff, so the light on the floor board lights up when the actuator is all the way out. The 'push button 4x4' trucks (96 and up) the light...

How to replace the actuator in the front axle in your 4x4 OBS

Often times the thermo actuator to lock the front hubs in the front axle goes bad. Symptoms include after shifting into 4x4 the light never lights up to notify you, and you don't have 4x4. The part can be had for $65 or so online here: AM-AutoParts.com. I paid $130 from a local part supply...

How to buy a new (used) Hoe

if you can get it to a rack or a set of jackstands get the front wheels off the ground, grab them and attempt to twist, if you feel play in the front end expect to go through the whole rigamaro: pitman/idler arms/etc: every 85-100,000 miles these trucks need the front ends gone through. in the...

    Jenna bear tune's

I don't know as I've not got a tune from them, but as a tuner I can tell you what most tuners do to stock vehicles to gain more power. Timing, timing, timing. There's not a lot left to tune if you have no modifications to the engine. They wouldn't be changing the injector tables as, you have...

Work Log for my 1995 Yukon

Thanks guys i've finished both sides now and I'm VERY happy with the look, it's not perfect but it's a lot better than the rusty gold. Work Log for my 1995 Yukon

Yea, just ditching the body side molding to me was a huge +++. I'm also removing the rust at the bottom of the doors as I go about doing this, so it's a double bonus, looks less old guy and gets rid of the rust. Want to take the chrome fender things off, afraid of what is under them... Might...

I struggled to get the body side moldings off my vette, now I know the easy way thanks to a parts desk guy: That is an Astro Pneumatic Tool Company Smart Eraser Pad... It's as cool and works just like it sounds, you erase pinstripes, adhesive and double faced tape in no time with it! Okay...

Does anyone have two sets of wheels/tires for summer/winter use?

I'm not 100% but i'd check that again if I were you, are you sure the ABS and TC doesn't operate off speed sensors in the hubs? if so, there shouldn't be any issues.. Anyway, you don't need a techII to change things up, just a copy of HP Tuners, if you were nearby I'd take care of it for you :)
