    do i need new springs? escalade non-esv

    so, i have autoride, and the rear shocks are shot, and thereby wearing out the front shocks too. since i have to replace them, all the research i've read so far says to get Bilsteins 5100s. but to get a slight lift, like 2 - 3 inches / level, do i need new springs as well? or just a spacer...
