How do y’all feel about towing 3500lbs in Drive?

I wonder if what you don't like is the behavior while the torque converter is unlocked and then later feeling it when it engages and is no longer slipping?

What did you do to your 2015-2020 K2XX Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Drove several hours round trip to get cheap cheap carpet and interior trim panels for my C5. I probably need to vacuum and spray down the whole rear hatch area as that carpet was gross but it is salvageable with a carpet cleaner and some effort.

2018 Yukon Denali with magnetic ride. Ride height question

You say yours sits perfectly level but then you post a picture showing the same front down rake that all Tahoe/Yukon/Escalades have.

I keep thinking about selling this because I am going to lose my garage across town later this year and I'll then be trying to park 5 cars in 2 spots especially when 2 of those are crew cab trucks. Then I go and drive it and I don't want to get rid of it anymore. I'm attached to my Duramax (it...

I've had this 98 C5 for over 10 years and it's just over 79k miles now. I moved on to many other cars and projects because I was never sure how to build it without ruining it but I figured it out now. It's going to stay a street car but be capable of drifting as a backup/every-once-in-a-while...

Man, that sucks. If it makes you feel better I overtorqued the first of my intake manifold bolts and ended up with this Monday night. Was able to sit a nut right above it and weld the two together but I'm not sure how much that helps you. Lucky for me the threads were clean and I just didn't...

2017 Air Dam trim or removal?

For those that don't get it go put a vehicle with the valence right next to the one without and you visually get a 1-2" front end lift out of it and the reverse is true for every sports car that runs a body kit that makes it look slammed to the ground. I can also state that our 2014 Sierra lost...

Drove it through a short monsoon to go work on the street car. Time for the Corvette to actually make more power than my Denali :rotflmao:

Took my door card off to replace the driver window regulator (I had expertly diagnosed a stuck regulator based on previous experience and absolutely zero investigating) only to discover that it was just the stupid foam block that had detached from the door skin and was blocking the glass halfway...

I've been hearing this my whole life and it has never been a problem. As a matter of fact I've only had blank rotors warp on me ever.

    Competition Mode active

Competition mode on Corvettes is basically you can slide the rear end without it trying to immediately gain traction and murder you but it will also save you from overdoing that slide into a ditch. It's surprisingly okay at its' job.

There is always the story of the transmissions that work until you change the fluid which gets rid of all the friction material built up over time.

    Replacement Battery

My understanding has been that virgin lead scarcity/price is the reason for batteries being trash the last 10+ years. You have to spend quite a lot on an enthusiast lead acid battery to have one that rivals the old days for longevity.

    Replacement Battery

Somehow I left it out of my post but originally the battery was bought through Smicklas Chevrolet, dealership my friend worked at, and they got bought out and are now Classic Chevrolet. We took the truck to Bob Howard GMC and they were a separate dealership that honored the warranty. I was also...
