I would absolutely check the grounds on the firewall. I have a 2015 Tahoe LTZ that was experiencing the same issue, albeit with some other electrical issues. At a loss with electrical/mech problems - 2015 Tahoe LTZ
I have a 2015 Tahoe LTZ and was having the same exact problems you’re experiencing for a couple years. Crazy codes, flashing infotainment screen, it would randomly die & start back up on its own, etc… Replaced the battery, positive and negative battery cables, replaced the alternator… each fix...- Foxguy1973

2010 LT 5.3 V8 Flex Dying Randomly HELP!!

Electronic issues with no warning lights
I have a 2015 and was having the exact same issues…hit the brakes during a turn and it would die, then start right back up.
