    I've got XM and love it. But like Frank if I had a bunch of music on my phone there would not be very much need for it. I don't store music on my phone so I'm at a loss. Plus you can call them and talk them down on their price....I did. I'm not paying what they want for it. Hope this helps.

    bass causing drivability problems?

    If you have too much of a voltage draw it WILL mess with the electronics. Just like Drew said, below 11 volts will make some stuff go crazy.

    This is on my to do list! I've got a USB port in the center part. Should I be able to use both USB ports? Like add a splitter? Or am I just better off with one?

    No XM Signal?

    I had mine turned back on today and it worked fine. I had to leave it on channel X0 till the program went through. After that all was well. It was very cloudy today and it worked fine. I hope you got yours working by now though.

    I'm looking to get this same kit. Not sure if it would make the front end set up a little too much. Is that why your not running it?

    NEW 8" ///ALPINE indash receiver

    I went and looked at one of these this week at a local audio shop. Just to be honest it looked too big for the truck.(about a 2009 1500 truck) I think the pictures of the 7" head units in Tahoes look the best. I'll be adding a 7" one on my ride.
