I went with A CCM 2.5 inch Level for my 07 Tahoe. Added Bilstein 5100 shocks which I believe you can use to level the front with as well. Ride quality is better than stock. When I got tires installed they even were surprised how well it rode. Not sure what to say on the wheels, I'm still trying...
I have used latex gloves when installing them before. I never had a moisture problem though. But recently I have noticed on the one headlight the center piece that covers the front of the bulb, the hood thing or whatever you call it, is loose now. Might have to buy a new housing.
Silverstar Ultras are nice but I haven't been able to get a full year out of them yet. That brighter whiter light comes at a price of burning out fast.
I'm running 285/70/R17 with the 2.5 CCM level. I was told my stock wheels are a +31 offset. Not sure what stock wheels your running or if they are a similar offset. I want to get Fuel Beast wheels but in a -12 offset. I was told they'll stick out about an inch which I don't mind. I just want a...
I believe it will by about an inch. I have a 2.5 CCM level on 07 Tahoe with 285/70R17 tires with stock wheels which I believe are a +31 offset. I want -12 offset Fuel Beast wheels and was told it would stick out which is what I am looking for. Heres a pic of my truck for comparison. I was also...
33's will work ok. I have 285/70R17's which is basically a 33 and have no rubbing issues on my Hoe. I'm on stock wheels though. I think your main concern is what I am trying to figure out and that is wheel offset. The more negative offset the more the tires will be pushed out and also cause the...
35X12.5 R18 won't fit without a lift and/or trimming

I put in the stock tire for my 07 Tahoe 265/70R17 and its pretty much the same size as a 285/60/R18 so those should fit. I put a 2.5 level on mine to fit 285/70R17 which is close to a 33X12.50 with no trimming.
I have't seen too many lifted SUV's around my way yet. Only a few and always a treat to see a lifted Tahoe. But tons of lifted 4 door pick ups with thin tires and deep deep dishes. And of course tons of lifted Jeeps that probably never see the woods or mud.
Looks good. And I agree stick with your current tires until they are up for replacement. I did the CCM level and also upgraded my shocks to Bilstein 5100's which I can't recommend enough as the ride is now better than stock. For tires I went from a 265/70R17 to a 285/70R17 Basically a 33 with no...
I almost went with the BFG's because I used them before on my old K5 Blazer years ago. They were great back then but I guess things change. Running a set of Falken Wild Peaks AT3 now and so far they are great in the rain and dry roads. Haven't off-roaded them yet though.
I recently put on a CCM 2.5 inch front 1 inch rear level and added Bilstein 5100 shocks. Rides great, better than stock I think. No regrets. Its as high as I wanted. Still practical and looks much better.
I've read good things about Fox shocks. I don't run them but went with Bilstein 5100 shocks which the front struts/shocks have the ability to lift. Night and day ride quality over stock in my opinion. Even my tire guy said he couldn't believe how good my Tahoe road especially after the tires...
