Well I managed to get it to hold together using brute force. Got a spring to hold the lock in a closed position so it will atleast hold shut until I can find a used one for cheap.
So my center console has been broke for a while and I cant figure out how to fix it. The damn lid doesn't latch and the mechanism to open it has fallen out. I'm tired of it flinging open on turns. Does anyone have a diagram showing how it works or Pics of the parts so I can figure out what to...
UPDATE: I changed out the intake manifold gaskets yesterday only to finish and now have 2 codes P0300 (random misfire) and P0200 (fuel injector fault). So I'm thinking an injector isn't getting power or has completely crapped out. Unfortunately I don't have access to the scan tool at the moment...
I have ordered the felpro gasket set. Hopefully this will solve the problem. I just did intake mani gaskets on my brothers 04 monte Carlo ss. What a pita.
Thanks for the pointers. I'll have to try the cigar smoke trick. The only issue with ordering the gaskets first is the fact that I would be stuck with finding an OEM intake manifold. If I go with an entire new dorman intake manifold it will come with gaskets for much less $.
I'm not thinking its the fuel pump but the fuel pressure regulator... which is mounted on the rail. I did look it up and GM spec is 55 - 62 with key on engine off.
