Is there a reason that all four "brake" lights don't come on when you brake and instead the bottom half is used for turn / hazard lights. The avalanche uses all four for brake and two on each side for turn signal

Okay, so here's where I'm at. I ripped apart the camera wiring and apparently there's only four real wires going to the camera. Red Yellow Brown and a Drain wire(GND)
The drain wire goes into a crimp that connects to Black Grey and White. And then goes into the plug.
So shouldn't I be getting...
Thank you, I'll try this out. I had come up with something similar and ended up tearing the wiring apart and it looks like the camera has four wires that turn into six wires with the ground going to three of them which seemed odd
Is it possible the reverse signal is negative switched?

Can I run the ignition to the reverse as well or will that not be good?
Additionally I'm making the signal wires into an RCA video female plug. Am I fine running a male to male...
Unfortunately what I want to do is have my duty gear / fire gear behind the third seat folded up. But would rather not have the floor dirty. Or where the west connects. And have the option of the third seat without removing it.
hey there, I just acquired a 2010 LT Tahoe with backup sensors and the basic mirror. My question is, how much work is involved and money is it do the following options. Which would be easiest.
1: install nav in place of current radio, does any nav unit work from 2008-2013?
2: same as above...
