The daytime driving lights on Tahoes look like the laughing emoji eyes >< and the Yukon's look like a body builder flexing (or brackets) []. Besides the lights, the major deciding factor for me was getting cooled seats in the front (Premium package option on Tahoe, i think and SLT on Yukon) and...
Another thing to add to the "pro" column for the diesel is that GM doubles the powertrain warranty on it.
The biggest "con" is having to deal with DEF. The main issue with DEF seems to be using a lot when towing, but I am at 5K miles in our Yukon and DEF was at 50% with no towing. 2.5 gal...
They replaced the seal and topped off the oil, said it didn't need much oil and the bearing didn't have any damage to it. Guess I caught it early. They managed to get to it and get it fixed the next day.
what did you end up having done for your leak around the pinion seal and has the fix held up? I just had this happen to me this week with 56K miles on my 2018 Tahoe.
what would be the best long-term fix if they try to do just the seal? I dropped it off at the dealer yesterday and they said it would be 2-3 days before they can even look at it...
I noticed a few oil drops from under the rear diff yesterday. I took a few photos and it looks like you can see where it is leaking from the front of the diff. 56K miles on the vehicle, so hopefully the powertrain warranty will cover it. Anyone have any thoughts on what could be causing the...
You can also notice it if you put your hand right in front of the light when standing next to the vehicle. It doesn't seem to show up in the beam pattern though, so must just be when you are really close?
When you installed these bulbs (or any LED really), is there any concern about water getting in the housing since you have to leave the back cover off that was a water tight seal before?
I ceramic coated my '18 Tahoe with Armor Shield IX. Very easy to do, easier than waxing and it has been great for the last 18 months. Looks like I just waxed it yesterday. Makes washing and drying much easier. Most of the work in in the prep (buff and polish first)
When I changed the trans fluid on my truck (2012 Sierra w/ 60K miles) i used the vacuum to suck the fluid out before dropping the pan so it didn't spill as much. There was only a small amount of fluid left in the pan, but it got most of it out. The magnet was covered with fine material though...
