I’m a fleet guy with a construction company that plays hand me downs to the new guys. Veterans get the new vehicles. They all take their trucks home and I don’t complain about personal use. I currently have 4 of these engines. One has thrown the doomsday code but not blown up yet. My oldest in...
85k for a potentially faulty engine and you want me to double up on my oil changes to help the company that sold me this POS get their junk to survive until the warranty is up? Newsflash! Ain’t happening. 150 should be a bare minimum for these vehicles.
What do you suggest we do with these vehicles that are on the recall list? Anything? Independent inspections? Independent oil analysis? Or would you just trust that the dealerships are going to do right by us owners?
They’ve replaced my entire drivers side mirror assembly twice and the passenger side assembly once. Control module got changed and they’ve had it 10 times. ZERO resolution. Mirror is still pointing wherever it wants to.
I’ve said that in an earlier post. All of my vehicles have run strong well into the 200’s. Spending 25k to replace a motor in a vehicle I paid 100k for at 150 doesn’t sit well with me. I believe they’re going to be replacing all of these engines.
