    I put in a new JVC head unit in my new to me 05 Yukon. When the head unit is on volume level 1, it's still loud. The head unit does have a volume adjustment and they're are all the way down too. I'm assuming it's louder since the the line level output is a higher wattage than the OEM unit...

    That is exactly my plan. My father is only getting rid of it because he had to replace the blend door motor and doesn't want to risk no AC if it dies again.
