Oil pump went out, changed it. Yes it was primed.. I haven't checked the bearings so I don't know. Had it towed last night will know what the problem is in a few hours- Chevymyre

Yea sorry. I'm mobile and keep getting auto corrected. Check gauge light. Haven't moved her since new oil pump. Hasn't been primed as far as I know. Think its time to for a mechanic and start over. Not. Sure how a TuneUp ended in knocking and new oil pump. From what I do know everything is new...- Chevymyre

The check gears light has been coming on since the pump went out. Went to autozone and they said the knock could be clogged valves or a bad sensor because the gauge us still reading low when full. I'm honestly not sure what the knock could be, I'm new to working on cars but I'm no dummy. . ...- Chevymyre

99 that just got a TuneUp and oil change with new pump is showing check gear light and knocking when accelerated. Never had a problem before this. Help!- Chevymyre
