Replaced latch, no change! Found out no power to latch. -

Left rear door ajar on a 2003 Tahoe!
Message on dash states left rear door ajar. Courtesy lights say on. Replaced with a good used one, still get same message. Then replaced with new one and the same message. Jumped the connector and still the same. The button on dash works to shut them off manually, but would like to have them...
