What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Out of curiosity, what intervals are you guys changing your diffs, transfer case, and transmission fluids? 30k or 50k?

Ride quality of 22" vs 20"

Yes, sorry, referring to above the wear bar. I have about 15k on them and they look practically new. So I do buy their long-life claim, but naturally, it comes with a cost (comfort). They have rave reviews but mostly for the sizes with larger sidewalls. I put Michelins on everything I own...

Ride quality of 22" vs 20"

I have 22” Defenders on my Tahoe. Unfortunately, they do ride rough. I believe the compound is very stiff as it is a 70k-mile tire that starts with 8.5/32” tread. I am a big Michelin fan, but would not get them again.

That is what I read from most reviewers. Some still had leaks with a new FelPro gasket though, so not sure what that’s about. I can tell you my right gasket and cover are original and leak-free at 183k miles though.

Dorman "updated" valve cover... leaking after 2 years? Long story kept long, the ticking from my engine had been slowly getting louder over the years. I knew I had some broken manifold bolts, so I took it to a muffler shop to give me an estimate on the job. While looking the truck over from...

2008 Tahoe/Front passenger tire sticks out more than drivers side

Welcome to NNBS ownership. This is absolutely normal.

    TPMS Sensors

There are LOTS of knock-off AC Delco sensors on eBay. I ordered some and they were trash -- they didn't even last 1 season. Be very careful. I think it is pretty universally regarded in the tire world that OE TPMS sensors are the only thing worth installing on any car/truck. Even OEM is not...

    Cushy drop springs?

I really doubt any lowered suspension would be an improvement (in comfort) on the stock one. I don't think your wife is going to end up happy with the $2k option.

I should've mentioned, I did have them RoadForce balanced just this week. Though I was a little disappointed that they just added weights to what was there (they did not remove everything and start over). The rotors are old and very rusty. I could see the "scale build-up" being the problem.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but on a 4WD Tahoe when only in 2WD I figured the front CVs and diff wasn't really spinning? I am guessing it is the U-joints as well. Honestly, that is what I do. But its annoying knowing that something is wrong...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I've got a vibration issue. Over about 80mph the truck has a little vibration to it, noticeable in the steering wheel. It's not terrible, but doesn't inspire confidence in driving those speeds. Wheels have been re-balanced. Tires rotated. Alignment performed (twice). Entire front...

    Huck's Replacement...2016 Yukon Denali

Beautiful truck. Get us some pics of the interior! I feel like the front is a wee bit high (or the rear is a wee bit low, depending on how you look at it!).
