Have you ever ridden in the back seat of your own vehicle?

Hijacking your thread. I've sat in the back and its okay -- not sure I'd want to go 100 miles but my 'Burb's 3rd row is the grandkid grabber and they love it especially with the 3rd row screen pulled down. What I'd really like is a 6 seat conversion option with the 3rd row's 2 seats able to...

Brought a new (to me) Burb home

The dealer installed a digital camera in the mirror but the OEM back up camera eventually had to be replaced. The picture was never great but its okay now especially working in conjunction with the HD digital mirror. Loki, you've clearly done yeoman's work on your vehicle. Have you...

    Monthly payments

When we purchased summer of 2021 rates were much lower and we got a 48 month loan and paid it off in 14 months. Gave us the flexibility in case we had a financial shortfall but in the end we paid very little interest. And Christmas this year, when we got our daughter in law a new Pacifica...

    Road trip, 850 miles, mpg

That's great! Car and Driver tested our 6.2 Suburban 4x4 @ 75 mph and got 23 mpg. We're planning a Route 66 trip next year and looking to match that. Our best 50 miles average is 24.5 and according to Fuelio we have a lifetime of 20.4.

    2019 Tahoe Premier, Rough Ride

I added a strutmasters magnetic ride set to my front back in March and the ride is nothing short of amazing. I bought the warranty which extends them by 4 years because I worried with the price being so good I wasn't sure how long they'd last.

    BWI Magneride Struts and Shocks

I bought a set of Strutmasters. I bought a set of four for front and rear but the installer said I only needed the front set. The total for all 4 was $1680. That's around $800 for the front. Just for added protection I bought the 4 year extended warranty. It hasn't yet been a year, but the...

    Denali Ultimate Power Steps

Dealer wouldn't fix mine. They insisted on treating it like a warranty item and they replaced them. Only one side -- the passenger side wasn't working -- and I haven't had a problem since. I wonder though whether they could actually have been serviced. With it being a warranty item, I had to...

    My new ride

My 2020 Suburban's color is called Blue Velvet. It is perfect for Texas. Congrats. Wish you many miles.

What did you do to your 2015-2020 K2XX Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Sam's Club had Michelin Defenders M/S2s for $277 a piece free balance and mounting last spring. It was too good to pass up.

    Wireless Carplay adapter problems

AA Wireless (Car Play beta) is the best. I keep it inside the console that lowers and raises. It comes with a troubleshooting app and though it occasionally fails to connect, simply unplugging it and then plugging it back in completely fixes it. Plus AA Wireless (Car Play Beta) lets you...

Isn't the 6.2 recall for the 2021 next generation Tahoe/Suburban?

    2025 Yukon garage door opener

I use an Ismartgate app on my phone so that when I'm a couple blocks away I can have the door open and drive right in. Since I always have my phone when I'm driving this is very convenient.

Any regrets not getting a Suburban/XL instead of Tahoe/Yukon?

My Suburban fits in my garage and stays there most of the time. We got ours for the grandkids and for holidays. For instance, its great for airport pickups. Went to a family reunion in ours last year and 6 people were all very comfortable. If I could get captain seats in the 3rd row it would...
