If your tune timing is off it will cause it to over heat too.

Radiator makes engine run too cold

I run 180° thermostats. If you're overheating that bad try running without a thermostat or program the fans to come on fully at a lower temperature.

Radiator makes engine run too cold

All my radiators are factory. My trucks spend a fair amount of time slow driving and idling. With no over heating issues

Have you flushed everything out and changed the coolant? It's a necessary maintenance thing since they switched to the orange coolant.

Also reviews are not a solid thing to base your decision off of. You naturally assume that the person writing the review knows what they're doing. This is not always the case. They may not have had a stuck thermostat but they also possibly failed to mention that the thermostat is a 160°...

Yes use a 2" ratchet strap loop it over the pipe and back down to the transmission or transfer case cross member so the ratchet is on the cross member and start slowly pulling the exhaust pipe down. This is how I do it every time.

I forgot what a PITA it is to drop the transmission pan NEED HELP w 2 Manifold Nuts

I run a ratchet strap around the exhaust pipe and the cross member and ratchet it down until the pan clears. Saves lots of time. There's enough give in the pipe.
