'09 LTZ Questions about a lift
Look at these Dobinson springs (https://baselineoverland.com/products/dobinsons-2-lift-rear-coils-for-gm-2007-on-with-660-880-lb-constant-load-c09-037) on that same website. Coming late to the party but I'll second the Bilstein 5100s. Put them on my 2011 along with the Moog 81069s in the rear with Air Lift bags for towing. That said - this caught my eye the other day...- bobsburban

Whose Lifted Suburban and Jayco Trailer Is That?
I'm curious about whether the 'Burb rolled or not. If it did, that's a strong passenger/cargo area. Thanks, the lift works well and doesn't require any additional kit. I'm mostly running BLM roads out west or NFS roads around Tellico. Burbs are a little too big for hardcore off-roading, especially for those of us who use them as daily drivers so 32" or 33" tires seem to be a good compromise...- bobsburban

How many miles did you get out of your original Transmission?
Likewise! I'm patiently waiting for the engine to dump itself so I can drop in a non-DOD replacement. It'll probably happen next summer in Nowhere, Nebraska while we're running the Oregon Trail.- bobsburban

How many miles did you get out of your original Transmission?
Doing fine so far with a bit over 1000 miles on it. Haven't pulled anything yet but that will happen soon as I get some battery and solar mods done on the trailer. After that, I'll change out the fluid and filter at 275,000 along with everything else underneath.- bobsburban

2012 Tahoe ltz/Wheels and tires
That's the exact size I'm running with General Grabber A-TXs. I do have an approximate 2" lift as a result of removing the air ride shocks and replacing with Bilstein 5100 shocks all around and Moog 81069 springs in the rear. No issues at all.- bobsburban

Hi OY. My 2011 Suburban setup is pretty close to Dustin's but there is a difference. I found I didn't need the lift kit with the Bilstein 5100s all around and the Moog 81069 Rear springs as that setup alone gave me a couple of inches of lift front and rear.
