    Yep you guys are right. I got a second opinion and it was $100 cheaper. The second quote was $1048. He did the quote by phone. However he did tell me that he wanted to inspect it himself because he said that the tensioner don't always have to be replaced.

    Same method here minus the taping. The duplicolor kits comes with spray on cleaner. Spray it on then wipe the calibers down with a rag.

    Haven't done the tahoe brakes but I have painted the brakes on my avalanche. I know it's not what you're looking for but the red really have people asking me how much I paid for the high performance brakes. I used the Duplicolor kit. Used a brush. Didn't need to tape or mask anything off.
