I haven't done this on a GM car before, but with my Lexus RX350 and Porsche 911, it was literally just that. Pop out the old and pop in the new. There may be a wired clip that needs to be plugged in for the heated and blind spot functions.
I take it you haven't seen the Engine and Drivetrain subforum? :)
I have a 2022 Denali with the 6.2 and have roughly 37k miles and it's been issue free. Enjoy your new rig!
I'll give a try on my next visit. I did ask on my last oil change but they said the techs that do such services don't work on Saturdays. Bummer
That's what irks me. These updates should be released free of charge OTA but it seems they are less common as before. Especially knowing there is a...
I have these in my 22' Denali and chose them based off looks alone. I haven't had issues with curling at the door sills and it's been about 1.5 years since they've been installed. I typically wipe them down with a wet rag to clean them up but I'm finally due for a deep clean at this point...
No it's a speed limit alert that you may have set too low. You can set the alert to chime once the vehicle exceeds the limit you have setup. I completely turned that off because it's pretty annoying.
I live in Houston and deal with this quite often. I've noticed that my 22 Denali does this as well although not terribly bad. I've had better air quality from my previous non GMC vehicles. It's not bad enough that I need to take it in but it does seem that if I'm directly behind a car with a...
I don't have Super Cruise or adaptive cruise control but my Denali slammed on the brakes which scared the crap out of me. There was a pedestrian standing on a very thin medium used to separate traffic that was turning and not meant for people to stand on. The cameras picked it up which in turn...
I wouldn't be surprised if this infotainment system was ran on a $60 Amazon Fire tablet. It literally feels that slow when it comes to running data intensive apps.
If your vehicle is running fine without issue, I'd say hold off. Everything listed by CMoore711 are valid issues. The fan speed is the annoying one for me at the moment.
The native Waze app in the infotainment screen is really slow to load and makes the infotainment seem really sluggish when it comes to hardware performance. Using Apple Carplay is like night and day for me when it comes to usability.
Though with the native app, it does work fine once...
I'm glad I read this thread because mine has ALWAYS been on Auto from the first day of purchase. If I leave it on 2WD, will it stay there permanently until I change it again?
