So update. It didn’t bump enough. Moved the safe to the rear 5” and built a ported box based off of specs from kicker rep. 2.14 cubic ft ported, tuned to around 37hz. Here is the port setup before I sealed it up. Same height and width but added 5” to the depth. It hits a lot better now...
It’s all done and looks/sounds great. I did lose some deeper bass but I assumed I would due to going to a shallow mount sub from a CompR in a larger box but overall it’s perfect.
This could go either in audio or interior but I think it fits better here, but feel free to move if need be.

I have 2017 that has the rear entertainment with hdmi inputs and I bought the lightning to hdmi apple converter. If you only have component inputs then get this adapter along with an hdmi to component adapter and you should be good
