Has Anyone Cross-Shoped The Land Cruiser

Ha. Believe me, I do need to make a decision at last. The Tahoe keeps pulling me back based on a number of positive factors. The rarity factor (at least in the Midwest) of the LC is somewhat intriguing. The reliability of my Range Rovers were both good and bad. I purchased a one year old...

Has Anyone Cross-Shoped The Land Cruiser

This reminds me of when I was looking at buying my first Range Rover Sport. A friend of mine said Range Rovers are expensive, over-the-top, and completely unreliable...... I ended up buying three of them in a row.

That is a sharp old Land Cruiser. There aren't too many 2003 model vehicles that realistically still look sharp and most importantly, run well.

I do not transport a large number of people. I do not have any kids. I take clients once in a while in my vehicles. The larger size is versatile for towing and cargo room as well as transporting golf clubs.

Has Anyone Cross-Shoped The Land Cruiser

Re Wilco's post and higher net worth with LC vs Lexus, I can definitely see that and agree. Especially, here in the Midwest. People with a comfortable net wealth are much more inclined to play it down a bit. This goes for homes and other items as well. They enjoy very nice possessions, they...

Has Anyone Cross-Shoped The Land Cruiser

I agree with everything Wilco writes. The Land Cruiser is significantly higher priced than even a loaded LT Signature and / or LTZ. The Tahoe is an outstandingly sharp looking vehicle, very reliable, has excellent resale, and a very traditional SUV. Additionally, outstanding MPG...

Has Anyone Cross-Shoped The Land Cruiser

The Land Cruiser has been around for a number of years, essentially unchanged. However, there was a large refresh in 2016 on the body and the interior. Some of the appeal of the LC is its timeless aging. In fact, the older a LC gets, the better it looks, if properly maintained. Re-sale...

Has Anyone Cross-Shoped The Land Cruiser

Thank you for your replies. Very informative. I have been looking for a new Tahoe for quite some time. However, the Land Cruiser has always interested me. I was visiting my folks a couple of weeks ago and noticed their neighbor had purchased a new black Land Cruiser. It was very sharp...

Has Anyone Cross-Shoped The Land Cruiser

Good Afternoon, As I narrow down my search for a new Tahoe LT Signature Series with a second row bench, I started looking at new Toyota Land Cruisers. The new Land Cruisers all come well-equipped. There are no packages. The only "option" is rear entertainment screens (which I would prefer to...

    Depreciation!

I have not found Tahoes to depreciate very much at all--in comparison to their German counter-parts. I have driven BMW's since I was in high school. I purchased my last brand new BMW in September of 2015. The MSRP was $78,000.00. Its value was $30,000-$32,000 earlier this year with fewer than...

    On-Star Navigation?

Good Evening, I happened across a well-equipped LT Signature that has only "On-Star Navigation." It has the sunroof and no rear-entertainment. I actually prefer not having the rear-entertainment. Would you buy a Tahoe with only the On-Star Nav? And can you have it programmed for the full...
