    If I’m not wrong, it was an extended warranty not a recall. As I experienced, the warranty expires 5 yrs after vehicle was placed in service. If OP did not experience any problems during that 5 yr period, the dealer was not obligated to do any repairs. There was nothing to fix. Same failure...

    Should be no problem. I once did one at work on my office desk. Went out to the parking lot with a lady and literally pull her trim off to her dis belief. Replaced her speedo stepper and reinstalled without glass to set the pointer position. Big smile as a thank you

    GM extended the warranty on the 16 Yukon condenser to 5 yrs from delivery. All were subject to a crack Mine went out about 2 months after warranty expired
