    Upper control arm problem?

Breaking everything down to replace upper and lower ball joints. Hub completely off and both control arms hanging free. Upper on drivers side has a lot of resistance when trying to raise it and will come back down on its on, feels like a rubber band. The passenger side is completely loose and...

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Installed helper air bags awhile back but just now trying them out for the first time. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000CFO0GI/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Really impressed for the price. As you can see in my signature pic, it already has a slight squat but that 22 footer...

One torsion bar seems to be worn?

If you take a C clamp and remove the flat disk, it leaves a ball that fits in the key perfectly. I used this to remove the factory key and install the aftermarket key. Both sides went the same as far as I can tell. Like I said I just don't see a way to install them incorrectly. So based on...

One torsion bar seems to be worn?

I installed the keys, Can you explain what "preload the drivers side" means? It only seemed like the key could go on one way. I had to use a C clamp to push the key far enough up to get the keeper in, and then installed and tightened the bolt. The only difference was to get both fenders even...

One torsion bar seems to be worn?

03 z71 with 188,000 miles Here is the passenger side with 3 inch keys, front leveled on both sides to 39 3/4 inches Here is the drivers side, like I said same fender height but i now have the bolt maxed out. I've read that a torsion bar on the drivers side can tend to wear out first...

    Painting your roof rack (Z71)?

So now that I have my running board/bars painted, my gosh dang roof rack sticks out like a sore thumb due to some faded spots. Whats the best solution since this seems to be a mix of plastic/aluminum? Or is it all plastic?

Those things get super brittle. You need a tool like for disconnecting fuel lines. Sometimes its those white plastic disks. Somebody help me out here.

Yeah literally 20 or so tabs on each side, it feels real sketchy but it finally will give. I only broke maybe one but it still went back together good. Just take your time and inch it up.

Yup, the rustoleum brand from walmart. 4 coats. Its a little tough to wrestle the footpads off but with a couple of flat prybars they pop off.

Got these things painted and put back on. Experimenting with spray on bed liner...hoping it holds up to the rock pecks a little better

Any interest in 4wd front coilovers to replace the tbars?

Can you link some threads for the lifted version? Everything I have read has been about lowering. Very interested in this.
